Omar earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. He then earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Lynn University.

With a passion for education and a commitment to fostering academic and personal growth, Omar brings over 10 years of leadership experience to the Fusion Academy Brooklyn. As Head of School, Omar focuses on creating an inclusive, nurturing, and innovative environment that enables students to thrive.
Prior to joining Fusion Academy, Omar served as a Director of Development at a prestigious private school in Atlanta, GA. With a strong background in strategic leadership, cultural competency, and performance management, Omar has been recognized for his ability to build strong, effective teams and create a collaborative culture.
Omar's educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that each student has unique potential, and, through personalized education, they can be empowered to succeed. He is passionate about deepening Fusion Academy’s connection within the Brooklyn community, and expanding the school’s commitments to academic, social and emotional growth.

- Outside of work, Omar enjoys long walks with his dog Oliver, reading, cooking, going to the theatre, and traveling with his wife Alexandra.
- Omar is captivated by films, and serves as a movie screener for the Indy Film Festival.
- He is deeply committed to the Humane Society and World Wildlife Fund, which aligns with his values of conservation, compassion, and community.
